Today on Humanizing Us we met with Robert Bivens, president of the Stockton chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). We discussed standing up to the KKK, urban planning, and the ripple effects of the civil rights movement.
Humanizing Us is an identity-conscious discussion on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) leadership in organizations and society hosted by Dr. Mary J. Lomax-Ghirarduzzi, an academic leader and professor of communication at the University of the Pacific, California’s first and oldest university located in three beautiful Northern California cities - Sacramento, San Francisco, and Stockton.
