This is a solo episode where Matt sits down with Eric to discuss his musical journey from the scene elders in Iowa sharing the history and the ethics with him up through his life after Former Thieves. We discuss all sorts of interesting facts like soundproofing the practice space with disposed mattress cushions, Matt leaving Iowa after the band broke up, and his eventual return to the Midwest. We chart the musical direction the band would have gone on had Former Thieves not broken up (spoiler alert - they would've gone heavier) and his fond memories of his time in the band.
