"Leave her alone." Three simple words from Jesus that still give us goosebumps today. When Mary broke open a jar of perfume worth a year's wages and poured it over Jesus' feet, using her hair to wipe them, she created a scandal. The intimate act violated social norms, and Judas immediately criticized her "waste" of resources that could have helped the poor.
