Today I try Ollie Pop's Coca cola and infuse it with Timablands The Way I Are which features Keri Hilson and Justin Timberlake.

Then we dive into 11 pop songs with notable samples and I then list off songs I want you to catch and see if you can guess the samples or listen for them!

This is just my rambling around losing my big brother and bestie for the restie, Kendrick on July 2nd 2024.

This is a healing episode as I am still in my anger/confusion stage. This has completely changed the course of my year and I am trying to redirect my energy. So I wanted to take a pause and just, anchor myself. I also wanted to bank this in my archive for years to come.

So, RIP Kendrick This is for you and all the things that will be achieved in life, it will all be for you.

Today while sipping on Olipops Orange squeeze I infuse with Painting Pictures by Superstar Pride which of course has a sample (Faith Evans!!)

We then jump in to some of the samples I have picked up on in Rap. While I did not touch on all of them because we would be here for a week, I touched on the ones I like and you may know.

Again, not everyone samples right and it has become overdone in Rap in the past three years to where its embarrassing. But hey, stuff happens.

I go up to 50 songs and I will do my best to get them back on spotify (took a break from that)!

On todays episode we are talking about grief and the grief journey.
