Have you ever wondered where someone who is less fortunate than others receives health care? It is no news that healthcare in the United States is completely broken, overpriced, and dysfunctional. In this episode, we’ll interview Enrique, an advocate who volunteered at the Flying Doctors in the Eastern Coachella Valley. He will be expressing his experience and concerns about our healthcare system.

Calafia Fellows are selected every year from each yli office to create and edit the issue’s theme and the stories presented. They are also mentored by experienced reporters, travel to statewide and national media conferences, and learn the steps to producing a printed publication.
