    Everyone gets nervous about podcasting. being blind in 2022 means dealing with technical issue, on top of everything else. I wanted to start the show this way to let everyone in, behind the scenes a bit to show that stuff happens but patience over comes, The show must go on, and well Ezrick handled it really well. I’m so proud of our group. While of course we can not all be here every week, every single VIP is in our hearts, and sometimes even in our Youtube chat during our live streams. Also. This episode was produced and arranged by Ezrick, Which coming from experience I can say is no easy thing. Times, and timezones, outlines, and updates, Ezrick really is turning out to be a real life Podcaster, and i love it. Today however we get to meet, get to know, and include Claire into the IBD family


    Ezrick kicks off the conversation addressing hurtful comments claire had received and discussed through social media which is a springboard to a broader across the pond discussion about body image, self image, judgement, and insults. Ezrick explains how His dominican family has a culture of teasing others. Claire and ezrick discuss body image anxieties and weight loss. Jason and Ezrick talk about being judged for their eyes. What size M&M fits in your nose. Accessibility at the gym. Losing weight in secret at home. Do you lose your appetite as you lose your vision? We make Claire talk in her best American accent. Ranch.     Bella (My.Eyes.Ohara) is back with Xhy, Jay,and Ezrick, to continue the discussion started in our last episode. Thank you for listening and sharing. Guide dogs are a freedom that blind folks are offered to sublimant the limited vision, if any we might have. They are not a luxury, not a spirit animal, not optional. Our guide dogs are by law medical equipment. Accepting intolerance is unacceptable but to often over looked. 


    That is why these episodes are so important. Learning about a situation ahead of time leaves us all informed when confronted with a situation. Please offer any human the personal space and freedoms we all deserve, and please offer that same respect to your blind and visually impaired brothers sisters and nonbinary neighbors. Addressing someones guide dog in a direct manner is poor manners. inappropriate and extremely dangerous. Distracting a guide dog is like blinding someone depending on what that dog is seeing. All of this and more is explained through real honest conversation you can listen to and relate with. #BeingBlind2021 is simply another way of living surviving and thriving.
