  • I thought I would share some of the simple prayers that can be found right in the Big Book and the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions. I also share a few others that have helped me along the way.

    The bottom line in my recovery is this...God is either everything or God is nothing....which is it? I had to make a decision. Was I willing to believe or not. This is what they call the turning point, the jumping off place. I can't really move forward until I take this step.

    I went from disbelief to belief with the act of willingness. I started to pray long before I believed in anything. I just knew, my way had not been working.
