Jeff Strand (Dweller, A Bad Day For Voodoo, Pressure) talks writing influences, walk-on roles in low budget horror movies, and novelizations whose time (may) have come.

  • サマリー

  • Jeff Strand is a highly accomplished and prolific novelist. He's the author of the Dweller, the greatest boy-meets-monster story ever written, as well as about 50 other books that are pretty swell, too. This list includes: Dead Clown Barbecue, Wolf Hunt, Single White Psychopath Seeks Same, and many many more equally notable and wonderful novels. There are far too many to list here-- like I said, the guy is crazy prolific!

On this episode, Jeff talks to us about authors and films that influenced and inspired him. We discuss the works of Douglas Adams and Richard Laymon. Later, he singles out a handful of low budget horror films he recommends and then a few more that he actually appears in. We quickly touch on the magic of horror musicals and what it was like to be on set with the Godfather of Gore himself, Herschell Gordon Lewis.
