  • As part of the university’s LGBTQ+ History Month, we are delighted to be able to speak to MBA alumnus Jaymin Dalal, Co-founder of Salvation Star (2007) and Bait Mumbai (2020), which provide safe space weekend LGBT+ soirees for the community in Mumbai. Jaymin has also served on the Organising Committee for Mumbai Pride (Queer Azaadi Mumbai), the largest in South Asia, since its inception in 2007 and successfully helped the committee raise funds for Pride 2019 and 2020.

    In this podcast, Jaymin is speaking to Professor Edgar Meyer, Deputy Dean, Leeds University Business School, and discusses his experiences and how he overcame the challenges of being a gay man in India as well as discussing his activism and support for the LGBTQ+ community.
