Dave Mowry's Bio:
Dave lives with bipolar disorder and severe anxiety and has all his adult life. He was a successful businessman until he lost it all due to his mental illness.
At 59, after 14 lost years, including 18 months of being homeless with his family, Dave took a stand-up comedy class for folks with a mental illness. It changed everything. Dave went from his mental illness having control over him to finding the humor in his experiences and regaining control of his life.
Today Dave teaches stand-up comedy to other folks with a mental illness and performs on stage. telling his story one joke at a time. He is also co-executive director of a mental health nonprofit.
Dave is the author of the best-selling book, OMG That's Me! Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, and more... which has sold over 17,000 copies. Dave is co-author of OMG That's Me! 3, and is working on his next book, Healing with Humor.
