  • We continue the discussion on legalism. The Sabbath is one of the 10 commandments. God gave the Sabbath as a blessing to people and told them to keep the day "holy" and to "not do any work." The Pharisees missed the point. Jesus healed a man's hand (a holy moment), and the Pharisees plotted to kill Jesus because of it. I guess the Pharisees forgot that one of the other of the 10 commandments was to not murder.
