GM Doug Armstrong spoke to the media today ahead of training camp and touched on the competitive training camp that will take place starting tomorrow. One of the big questions heading into camp is if Dalibor Dvorsky will make the opening night roster. There is a good chance he could start his season with the Blues' AHL team the Springfield Thunderbirds. Armstrong gave an update on Torey Krug who will be missing the season due to recovery from his surgery.

Following the weekend slate of the prospect showcase games Adam Jecho and Simon Robertsson were standouts. Robertsson had the OT winning goal during Saturday's game against the Chicago Blackhawks. Both of these players will most likely need another few seasons of developing as Jecho looks to play another season with the Edmonton Oil Kings.
