The Toronto Maple Leafs were put to the test in the first on-ice session at training camp, with some interesting combinations thrown out right off the hop. Mike DiStefano and David Morassutti look at what the first group looked like at camp, with the Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner duo sticking together. They also look at who was skating with them and who got assigned to William Nylander's wing. Mike and Dave then shift gears to the second group skating, where a lot of attention was paid to the competition that we'll see for roster spots, especially on the fourth line. To end the show, Mike gives the first projected lineup that he thinks the team could roll with while they both wonder if we could see David Kampf's name on the trade block.

The Toronto Maple Leafs get set for training camp with media day opening things up as we get to hear some questions, hopefully, answered before players hit the ice.
