The Detroit Tigers were defeated by the Baltimore Orioles in a tough game at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The Tigers' bats were cold as they managed only seven hits,Trey Sweeney drove in the lone run with two outs in the 9th while Parker Meadows, Kerry Carpenter, Andy Ibanez, Colt Keith, and Jace Jung each contributed one hit apiece. The Orioles' pitching was dominant, led by Corbin Burnes, who threw seven shutout innings while striking out eight. Baltimore's James McCann was a standout offensively, going 2-3 with two home runs and three RBIs. Keider Montero and Tyler Holton struggled on the mound for Detroit, allowing seven runs combined. With this loss, the Tigers' record drops to 80-74 as they head into the final stretch of the season.
