    If you’ve been following me for a while, you know my struggles with weight loss. I’ve spent most of my life sliding up and down the scale from when I was growing up, college weight and then trying to lose weight after having my two kids. In fact, I started my @HealthyJenell page after giving birth to my daughter where I shared my post-baby weightloss journey.

    Through all my health and fitness up and downs, one of the most common questions I get asked is how do I stay motivated. As a wife, mom and entrepreneur, I know how difficult it can be finding time to exercise throughout the week.     Kalilah Wright is a designer and graduate architect. She started her first business at 12 years old when she created a “cool club” at school and charged kids a membership fee of $0.35 a week. Of course, at the time she had no idea that she would venture into being a businesswoman and entrepreneur.

    Kalilah is the founder of T-Shirt company “Mess in a Bottle” which allows you to say what you want without ever having to say anything at all. Mess in a Bottle is an expressive brand, and it allows an individual to be outspoken and vocal by wearing their message.

    In this episode, Kalilah and I discuss how she turned T-Shirts into a multimillion dollar business.

    There’s something magical about this time of year!
    I love fall, but after the initial excitement of pumpkin-flavored drinks and sweater weather wears off, the shorter days and chilly temperatures can leave me feeling physically and mentally drained. If this is the case for you, too, you’re not alone. As the season changes, it’s natural for our moods to shift too. Experts have confirmed that a decrease in daylight can affect our sleep, energy levels, and social ability.

    While it’s essential to take steps to protect your mental health all year round, the change in seasons may require extra support. We need to be proactive to prevent the fall and winter blues from setting in. This year, I’ve decided to make a commitment to protect my mental health by picking up new hobbies that support me in a positive way.
