In this episode, I’m not pretending to be okay.

This is me being honest about what it feels like when your emotions boil over — when you’re holding in anger, sadness, and confusion, and it all becomes too much. I talk about those moments when you’re tired of smiling, tired of being strong, and tired of pretending.

But I also go to the Bible — to Job, David, Elijah, Hannah, Jonah, Peter — and remind you that even in Scripture, the most faithful people broke down too. And God didn’t walk away from them. He sat with them in it.
