My guest and his family are well know in the community, even though they’ve been here a relatively short time, compared to many. But even if you don’t know the family, chances are you know their businesses! But what you may not know is the journey that brought them here, and we’ll certainly share that today!
After growing up, getting marries and starting a family in Macon, Jacob Fried and his family made the move to the lake and have never looked back. In business, Jacob is one of those individuals who sees a need and finds a way to fill it. And I mean, he goes all in. While many people see obstacles, Jacob sees opportunity. He lives the words “failure is not an option!”
He opened and operates both Suds Car Wash and F5 Detailing & Restoration, both well-known and well-patronized by many of us here at the lake. Now you’ll hear the story behind these businesses.
But besides being a good businessman, Jacob is an incredible community neighbor, husband, father and friend! He loves his community and he helps anyone who needs help, not because he has to but because he wants to, usually before they even ask!
We’ll talk about all of that, as well as his involvement at Gatewood Academy, where he characteristically jumped in to lend a hand, even before his kids started day one of school there!
