  • Want to know more about sustainable living and how you can make an impact?

    Ask yourself:

    1. Is what I'm doing making a positive or negative impact?
    2. If everyone did ____ would it be good or bad on the planet/population/health?

    Per square foot of land:

Is this a better use for it than it being nature?

    • Positive = life supporting activities: like food production, plants, and housing animals
    • Negative = carbon dioxide producing or labor and water intensive processes: Building, digging, paving

We need to think of fashion in terms of sustainability in land use first and foremost. If it doesn't positively impact by supporting life, it is not sustainable.

Bri studied land use and urban planning at the University of Victoria, and applied it to fashion production to learn how to make fashion sustainable. What she learned about fashion processes could be turned into a course, but for now it's a podcast!
