    ARACHNOPHOBIA

    After a nature photographer dies on assignment in Venezuela, a deadly spider sneaks into his coffin and is shipped to his hometown in rural California. There, arachnophobic Dr. Ross Jennings, who has just moved to the town with his family, suspects spiders when locals begin dying mysteriously. Jennings must confront his deepest fears in order to help stop the deadly infestation before its too late.

    Craig along with Make Me Watch This Co-hosts Brendons Agnew and Foley talk about what critters scare them, practical scares, Amblin horror flicks and the movie “Arachnophobia” on this week’s Matinee Villains!

    In World War II Casablanca, Rick Blaine runs the city's hottest nightspot. Cynical and solitary, he comes into possession of two valuable letters of transit. When a Nazi Major arrives, the opportunistic Captain Renault goes out of his way to appease him, even detaining Czech underground leader Victor Laszlo who shows up with Rick's former love, Ilsa. Bitter over Ilsa's betrayal in Paris, Rick is conflicted, but when he learns her reasons, they plot to escape together using the letters of transit—though their plan may not unfold as expected.

    Craig and Alan discuss the great Humphrey Bogart, timeless stories, our favorite past episodes and the all time classic “Casablanca” on this 400th episode of Matinee Heroes!

    THE RUNNING MAN

    In the year 2019, America is a totalitarian state where the favorite television program is "The Running Man" -- a game show in which prisoners must run to freedom to avoid a brutal death. Having been made a scapegoat by the government, an imprisoned Ben Richards has the opportunity to make it back to the outside again by being a contestant on the deadly show, although the twisted host, Damon Killian has no intention of letting him escape.
