  • Conversation with Professor Souleymane Bachir Diagne
    2024/07/19

In this wide ranging interview with Senegalese philosopher, Professor Souleymane Bachir Diagne (Columbia University) and Uni Bremen Worlds of Contradiction (WOC) International Guest Professor 2024, I talk to him about him about the intersections of his work in the areas of history of philosophy, history of logic, the tradition of philosophy in the Islamic world, African philosophy and literature. We discuss the place of Africa and pan-africanism in a geopolitical context of a falling imperial order, strengthening the African Union and Africa's democracy. This episode was recorded at the ZMML's podcast studio at the University of Bremen. Thank you to Alexander Hillmann who assisted in the editing of this episode.
