Menopause, Resilience and Empowerment

  • サマリー

  • The Challenger CEO Podcast is diving into the mind-body connection, and how it's changing as we move through perimenopause or menopausal years.

Caron is joined by Osteopath Phyllis Woodfine and Mindset who has focused on complementary health to help people change their thinking for an improved life. Whether that means mindfulness exercises like breathing, or using movement therapies geared towards releasing stressors in different parts of our bodies.

They discuss the many benefits for women going through perimenopause or menopausal years that can come from movement therapy (such as yoga), and mindfulness practices when it comes to managing any symptoms they may be experiencing due to these transitions into this next phase in their life. They talk about normalising menopause in the workplace.

Caron also speaks with Phyllis about her background and how she became interested in complementary health after encountering sexism at work.

They discuss the importance of resilience and to keep moving forward, even in the face of challenges. They look at having gratitude for what you have and helping others who are less fortunate.

    Here's abit more about Phyllis.
