  • Mickey Mouse Is IMMORTAL (and Other Conspiracies We Believe) | MADHD Ep21 | Reading Reddit Stories
    2025/06/06

Mike and Dylan introduce a new segment called "Low Stakes Conspiracies" while delivering relationship advice and their unfiltered takes on pop culture. The episode opens with an update on Dylan's dog Buddy who was peacefully put down, followed by the announcement of their June 15th meet-up at the abandoned Denny's in Thomasville, North Carolina. When discussing marital tolerance, Dylan explains how he's learned to live with his wife's endless collection of decorative pillows and knickknacks, with Mike concluding that accepting your partner's quirks is part of a healthy relationship: "That's accepting somebody else... there's beating in the middle, there's compromising, but if there's something that really brings somebody joy, you're going to let them do it."

Their new "Low Stakes Conspiracies" segment covers entertaining theories including Mickey Mouse's unnaturally long life (attributed to experimental mouse drugs), deliberate controller stick drift in video games, and fake dumpster diving videos on social media. The conversation frequently detours into Mike's passionate opinions on healthcare costs, his observations about graveyards and mortality rates, and his balanced take on the casting of a transgender actress as Zelda in an upcoming movie adaptation: "If the casting is good, fucking let it ride."

Between the conspiracy theories and social commentary, the guys tackle a lengthy advice request about hygiene issues in a relationship, with both hosts agreeing that some of the complaints are normal human behavior while others might require gentle guidance. Submit your own questions for future advice or low stakes conspiracy theories at MikeAndDylan.com, and don't forget their upcoming meet-up on June 15th at 6 PM at the closed-down Denny's in Thomasville, North Carolina.

  • The OTHER SIDE - A Husband's Ultrasound Horror Story | MADHD Ep20 | Reading Reddit Stories
    2025/06/04

Mike and Dylan debut their hilarious new segment "The OTHER SIDE" with an absolutely unhinged tale about a husband's nightmare experience at his wife's ultrasound appointment. After reading a standard AITA about a pregnant woman refusing to tell her husband their baby's gender after he skipped appointments, the guys flip the script with Mike's outrageous fictional explanation from the husband's perspective - featuring a wife who becomes inappropriate during doctor visits, leaving her horrified spouse making excuses to avoid future appointments.

Between gut-busting laughs that repeatedly derail their reading, the guys tackle workplace drama involving a child-hating coworker grabbing someone's son at a company barbecue. Mike demonstrates his impressive improv skills by freestyle riffing an alternative version where the "problem child" was actually the villain in the story. Their tangential debates touch on everything from Mike's IQ test results to Dylan's ad targeting with "Micro Wrestling", with occasional digressions about Ricky Gervais's take on cancel culture and Mark Zuckerberg's awkward humanity.

The episode takes a brief emotional turn when Dylan mentions he'll be putting his 14-year-old dog, Buddy down, but quickly returns to their trademark humor with discussions about Scientology, impressions, and their quest for podcast monetization.

  • The PETTIEST Neighbor Fight EVER | MADHD Ep19 |
    2025/06/02

Mike and Dylan celebrate the growth of the podcast with a special thank you episode dedicated to reading all the submissions from their website. Between revealing they've ranked on New Zealand's comedy charts (higher than in the US) and announcing a possible shift to more advice-focused content, the guys tackle listener questions including a polyamorous fan requesting "more gay drama" and Mike sharing his infamous Yu-Gi-Oh! story about tickling a 400-pound man with Parkinson's during a card tournament confrontation.

The conversation takes its trademark detours through Mike's father-in-law being accused of hanging a noose that turned out to be a cat leash, and a heartfelt response to a mother concerned about her son joining the military after losing his father to PTSD. When discussing a relationship crisis involving a brother's girlfriend kissing the writer and sending explicit texts, Mike insists "you gotta tell your brother" while Dylan analyzes how the situation appears from the suspicious wife's perspective. Their advice for the tenant dealing with a complaining downstairs neighbor takes a hilarious turn when Mike suggests the perfect response to complaints about bathroom fan usage.

  • Public Pee Kinks, Babysitter Scams, and Cannibalism Plans | MADHD Ep18 |
    2025/05/30

To see the photo mentioned in the podcast head over to r/MADHD We also share embarrassing photos of "Bieber Mike" and Dylan's "Fuck You, I'm Drunk" encounter with Greensboro Police.

Mike and Dylan return to their Reddit storytelling roots with an absolutely unhinged episode tackling some of the most bizarre AITA posts yet, including a husband with a public urination kink who's been banned from his sister-in-law's wedding. Between fits of laughter that repeatedly derail their reading, the guys debate the ethics of revealing infidelity to adult children, with Mike insisting "especially if your kids are older" they deserve to know why their parents split. When discussing a babysitter who got stiffed on payment after a child slept through the whole gig, Mike suggests an unconventional approach involving baseball bats while Dylan explains why being "on duty" still warrants full payment.

The conversation takes wild detours through Mike's theories about the CIA watching their podcast, Dylan's Salvia stories featuring friends who believed they were "stuck in glass jars by giants," and an unexpectedly detailed discussion about who they'd eat first in a plane crash survival situation. Their tangential debates reach peak absurdity when Mike reveals he told his wife he'd "eat everybody except dudes because that's gay," sending Dylan into a spiral of laughter as Mike explains the semantic difference between cannibalism and homosexuality.

Despite their chaotic energy returning after some heavier recent episodes, the guys still manage heartfelt moments acknowledging their podcast growth and thanking the listeners.

  • When Life Gets Real - A Different Kind of Episode | MADHD Ep17 |
    2025/05/28

We've decided to do a different format for this episode due to some family events. Just 90 minutes before recording, Mike's wife's stepfather experienced a serious medical emergency where his heart stopped completely. Instead of our usual Reddit stories and advice-giving, we took this opportunity to have a more raw and personal conversation about mortality, family, and what really matters in life.

During this episode, we share our perspectives on death and the afterlife, with Mike questioning traditional religious concepts while Dylan recommends "The Midnight Gospel" for its thoughtful take on loss. We still find our way into some passionate discussions—particularly about water safety for children and the importance of vigilant parenting—but throughout it all, we both emphasize how our connections with family provide life's greatest meaning.

This episode offers a glimpse into our real lives beyond the podcast personas, from Mike's childhood dreams of building his mom "a house of gold" to Dylan's difficult decision about his aging dog. While it's definitely more introspective than our usual content, we hope it resonates with those of you who've faced similar challenges. We'll be back to our regular format next week, but sometimes life reminds us to pause and reflect on what's truly important.

Thanks for understanding this detour, and as always, we appreciate your support. Let us know your thoughts at https://MikeAndDylan.com or join the conversation on our subreddit r/MADHD https://www.reddit.com/r/MADHD/ (you can find the photo's mentioned in episode 16 here)

  • Accidental Proposals, Therapist Flashing, and Mike's Fight Chronicles | MADHD Ep16 | Reading Reddit TIFU
    2025/05/26

Mike and Dylan shift from "Am I The Asshole" to "Today I F*cked Up" stories in this chaotic episode, tackling everything from a couple's accidental Home Depot engagement to an unfortunate therapist flashing incident on Zoom. Between advice segments, the guys debate the merits of "I see red" fighting philosophies while Mike shares unfiltered details about his elementary and middle school fighting career - including the time he windmilled his way through his first victory with his eyes completely closed, only to later get humbled by a single punch from an eighth-grade football player.

The conversation takes unexpected detours through Mike's traumatic time in alternative school where he was surrounded by "grown man kids" while dressed like Steve Irwin, and Dylan's illegal coupon scheme with his wife that nearly crossed into criminal territory. When the topic shifts to personal grooming preferences, both hosts find surprising common ground on landscaping choices, though they disagree about whether it's appropriate to discuss intimate relations with your spouse among friends (Mike's adamant "never").

  • BUILDING PYRES For Child Predators?! | MADHD Ep15 |
    2025/05/23

Mike and Dylan tackle a disturbing letter about a boyfriend refusing to enforce a restraining order against his abusive mother in this hard-hitting episode. With appropriate trigger warnings for sexual assault content, the guys don't hold back their passionate takes on protecting children and establishing firm boundaries with toxic family members. Between Dylan's measured advice about using legal resources and Mike's fiery suggestion to "build pyres" for child predators, listeners get two distinct perspectives on handling family trauma.

The conversation takes wild detours through government assistance reform, Mike's childhood experiences with CPS investigations, and Dylan's wife's extreme couponing scheme that bordered on illegal. When the topic shifts to parenting philosophies, Mike becomes surprisingly animated about fast food orders, insisting that children deserve exactly what they ordered while Dylan argues kids should toughen up and eat what they're given. Their tangential debate about chicken nugget kids and picky eaters showcases their contrasting parenting styles, with Mike revealing his son Oliver will "eat everything in the house and drink a gallon a day."

The guys read surprisingly heartfelt listener reviews, including one from a truck driver who appreciates their longer episodes during long hauls.

  • POOP Knife - A Reddit Hall Of Fame Story | MADHD Ep 14 |
    2025/05/21

Mike and Dylan dive into the Reddit Hall of Fame with the infamous "Poop Knife" story about a family's unusual bathroom tool, launching them into unfiltered discussions about childhood misconceptions and embarrassing bodily functions. From Dylan's first "shart" experience at age seven to Mike's workplace disaster at 27, the guys hold nothing back while exploring those moments when you realize your family's habits weren't as normal as you thought.

The conversation takes unexpected turns through Mike's shocking revelation about living with a broken septic tank where "shit would come through the shower drain," forcing his family to use buckets for months. Mike continues with tales of dumpster diving as a teen, & Dylan thinking UPS drivers randomly delivered packages like Santa, and Mike's parents who refused help despite struggling financially.

Their candid reflections on cigarette addiction, gambling, and the moral compromises they refuse to make in their careers reveal why Mike insists he'd "die with my morals" rather than sell out.

This episode perfectly balances crude humor with surprising depth as the hosts debate the ethics of flushable wipes, gambling sponsorships, and what they won't do for fame.
