  • Therapists and their anti-male bias and stigma
    2024/09/16

There is a strong anti-male bias and stigma in the mental health industry. Men attend therapy far less often than women. Is it because they're bad, evil oppressors or is it because therapists treat them poorly? I'm speaking from experience here, therapists have adopted a strong anti-male bias and hold stigmas against them. The whole thing is more disturbing when you see how widely accepted it's become. It's now normal for a therapist to put you down and press their values onto you as long as you're a man. It's time to bring greater attention to this issue.
