  • ARE YOU READY TO DO A DEEP DIVE INTO NOSTALGIA? Mother and daughter duo Griz & JL have a special relationship. Whether it's chats about JL's latest tinder date, or her mum, Griz, not knowing how to use the eggplant emoji correctly– you're in for a fun ride.

Our lighthearted podcast is keeping you up to date on the latest issues, such as Australia's potato shortage *insert crying emoji* and why Prince Harry refers to his *eggplant emoji* as a TODGER!

Between laughs and "OMG" moments... we sprinkle nostalgia into every ep– which is something everyone can relate to. Whether it's 80s music trivia or JLs trip down memory lane of retro lunchbox items (think LCMs, ovaltines and TINY TEDDIES)...

Every listener will be brought back to what we have loved and what we have lost (RIP candy necklaces).

Griz is A 21 year old woman (she told me to write that). 51 years young, Griz is truly one of a kind. My friends enjoy her company more than mine. Quick witted, bubbly and fun– Griz is the queen of making anyone laugh. She's owned her small business for 17 years... working with organisations to better their sales and team. A boss woman, who takes a genuine interest in her daughter's life. Especially when it comes to dating... still asking JL "Are you still on Bumbler?".... it's called bumble mum.

JL is a 27 year old woman and has a knack for self-deprecation. Whether it's her "big head", which her mum constantly reminds her of or her awkward encounters with every day people... you'll relate to her just-trying-to-figure-out-life persona.

Two generations... one podcast. What could go wrong? Everything.

Join us, and some very unique guests as we try to figure out life and have fun while doing it!

Hey friends! Did you miss us?! Because we missed you!

As always, Griz ands JL go down a few rabbit holes.. so strap yourselves in.

Starting off strong... Copper art & touch lamps was a thing in the 80s. Insert Pete Smith! The voice of a generation.

Then, naturally, the conversation progresses to Temu, which Griz can't pronounce.

Finally, when miscommunication goes horribly wrong. With a French waiter.

And, if no one's already told you... don't eat rocks!

All that plus more! Thank you for listening and supporting.

Please rate us 5 stars if you had a giggle or we gave you some good life advice #DontEatRocks.

  • My Big Fat Fake Wedding
    2024/09/30

    Ello Ello Gappies.

We'd like to let you know that JL has finally met a man!

He goes by the name of Robert Timms. And he makes her heart palpitate! For all the wrong reasons.

Then a story we overheard at a wedding... about a FAKE wedding!

The girls debate whether it's eavesdropping or ears dropping.

Onto collaborations... where do we draw the line? Maybe at Oreo flavoured coke.

Which begs the questions, should you ruin a good thing?

Finally, our top tier spreads and a game where Griz says the word Jizzer.

JLs not sure if it's the Robert Timms coffee or the fact her mother just said Jizzer, but she's not feeling very well.

Thank you endlessly for your support and hanging out with us!

On this episode, the girls question whether hens parties have gone too far.

JLs already been asked on a hens party which involves a .... half marathon? Bring back the humble penis straw, we say.

The girls also discus destination weddings and why the local church is a better option than an Italian castle.

They come up with a new business venture which involves row boats and... helping you escape bad dates.

    Finally, group chats. Enough said.
