    2025/06/18

Death is something that is a certainty for all of us. No one knows when they are going to die, but we all assume we have a good chance of living into our elderly years. But when you're faced with the certainty of death a lot sooner that you would like you're forced to face a reality you're just not prepared for.

What are the things that take over someone's mind when they receive a stage 4 cancer diagnosis? Is mindset work of any use to the person's outlook? Dr. Sarah Fitzgibbon is a GP from Cork. She received a diagnosis of stage 4 colorectal cancer in 2014. As many of you will be aware, stage 4 cancer is a terminal diagnosis.

I hope you enjoy this interview as much as I did. Sarah's openness and honesty around her journey is refreshing. She also makes some really interesting points about death and why we should prepare for our deaths.
