If we don’t share our stories, how do we truly empathize with others? If we don’t share our stories, how can we see the many different stories of motherhood that are taking place in the world? As mamas, sharing our stories and experiences can have a profound effect on the lives of others, and this week’s guest is doing phenomenal work empowering mamas all around the world.
Karni Arieli is a mother of two boys, a filmmaker, and a photographer, and ever since she was a little girl, she has used her camera to tell stories. She is the founder of the Eye Mama Project, a project that empowers moms all across the world to share their authentic experiences of motherhood and brings visibility to the real-life struggles faced by so many. The Eye Mama Project is a curation of thousands of photos of real-life motherhood, featuring contributions from more than 40 countries. Through this project, Karni has created a network of empowered mamas who are sharing their stories from all over the world.
