No matter what I did on Wednesday, it didn’t change the outcome of the Presidential Election.

I did the only things I could think of. Distract myself. There’s no consolation in “wait another four years.” By then who knows what will have happened to my memory.

On Tuesday, the nation will vote to elect our 47th President. I have never missed an election. I realize that I vote every day.

No Explanation Needed

An intense two days, cross country to NYC to say goodbye to a dear, dear one, I spent time with my most precious people.

We started in the middle of stories and only ran out of time. I suppose we will all run out of time.

What a gift to say thank you and know you've had this amazing, crazy life.

A Fair Weather Fan Watching History

I am not a baseball fan unless it's Cleveland v Yankees: my two towns. I did watch the Guardians lose the American League Pennant to the Yankees and thus their path to the 118th World Series.

I watched Game One of the Series. Yankees v LA (formerly Brooklyn) Dodgers. I saw history made.

It reminded me of a Cleveland-Yankee match up a long time ago. It changed my life.

JD Vance is Not Ohio! The Republican Veep candidate has been throwing shade on MY state and I’m telling you, there are wondrous and surprising things about Ohio.

It is NOT Iowa, for example. Don’t let the vowels fool you. Our Cuyahoga River is so amazing that it runs both north AND south.

I am a proud, corn fed Ohioan. Just like Clark Gable, Paul Newman, Harriet Beecher Stowe, the Kelce Family…..

This Thing Happened!

I don't fawn over stars I admire. I have never stood on a line or camped out waiting for the tickets to go on sale.

So what happens when a star performer you adore actually responds to your friend request?

Is it HIM or is it AI or SOMEONE MASQUERADING?

How can you tell? I remember the old Memorex tape cassette tv commercial: "Is it me or is it Memorex."

I think it was him.

Coming to terms with myself as a senior is a daily occupation. Every day I'm surprised to find myself this old.

Friendships matter more than ever.

My shopping list for now: humor, decent health insurance, friends who keep your secrets.

Can I Trust This Feeling? S2/E19-43

Watching all the nights of the Democratic National Convention was transformative. I used a ton of kleenex.

It was brilliant, emotional, and uplifting.
