Leggo My Legos!

The Formula 1 world was rocked by the sudden sacking of Christian Horner of Red Bull Racing, the winningest team in F1 Grand Prix history.

Also making history is the partnership of F1 and Lego. That's MY dream team. Lego built full size cars and most recently, trophies for the British Grand Prix.

I know what they need to create next. Lego is my therapy, both occupational and psychological. Ultimately, my Zen practice.

Legos for Seniors

I never met a Lego face to face until a visit to my neighbor's . My only, really ONLY exposure to Legos had been through my passion for Formula 1. I follow The Moving Bricks. Every Grand Prix race created in Legos. Fans in the stands.

What happened next, I could never see coming. And HOLY COW, it's good for me.

Where I Throw Shade on Sanchez and Bezos

S3 E9/59

I learned that Lauren Sanchez AND Jeff Bezos are from Albuquerque.

They were getting married in Venice in a bazillion photo moments. I was not paying attention, here in Albuquerque, as I watched hummingbirds and monarch butterflies.

I had to weigh in, as a 17 year citizen of New Mexico and Albuquerque since 2016.

Well, this IS the Land of Enchantment, so what's a littlie glitter?!

On Father's Day

With the world in turmoil and divisive seems to be the operating adjective, let's just stop and hold up our fathers.

I lost my father before graduating high school. A really tough thing, but I have had this crazy life, in part, due to the gifts he gave me.

I love other fathers too. Abraham Lincoln. Tim Walz. How magnificent to have so many to love.

All We Are Saying

The world is in chaos and fear is rampant. We need a solution NOW to end the conflict in the Ukraine.

I have the solution: Let's all be hippies! (For some of us - again.) Those were simpler times and we can still learn.

All we are saying is give peace a chance.

The Extinction of the Ad Agency

The New York Times has declared the ad agency is rapidly disappearing as a business model. Replaced by influencers with a video cam and no degree.

I have a long fabulous, hilarious, scary, awful, amazing history with ad agencies, both as write/producer and performer.

Sad to say goodbye to Madison Avenue. It was sweet while it lasted.

MARCH MADNESS

March for most of us is much more than NCAA activities. And THIS one in particular.

Madness is rampant, especially in DC. Have you noticed?

5 years ago, March became famous for The Lockdown. Within one month, more than half the world’s population was under some sort of lockdown.

It’s time to take stock: that time to this.

My State is Cooler than Your State

New Mexico is still the wild, wild west. While the loonies in DC keep changing the rules, my landscape is eternal. Mountain ranges, dormant volcanos, hummingbirds, road runners and plenty of wily coyote.

New Mexico is known for woo woo and Meow Wolf. We are the official Land of Enchantment.. We probably have more therapists and artists per square foot than San Francisco.

Consider us. We have always been a sanctuary state. If you can find us, BIENVENIDOS!
