Our world flip flopped in three weeks and my head is still spinning.

Maybe the moral is "Never give up hope - ever."

It feels like we live in a Rube Goldberg construction and right now, I'm pretty happy about it.

A far cry from the Chinese installing digital counters in women's bathrooms at the Yungang Grottoes to tell everyone how long you've been sitting there.

Clean, efficient and artful were my recent bathroom experiences. Mostly.

Sanctuary! Sanctuary!

My long awaited sojourn to Paris and Vienna had surprises I couldn't have anticipated. I had to dig deep and push through the most challenging of times.

Paris, Vienna, then a 5 day stay in a Massachusetts hospital. Talk about material!

The art, the music, the old Paris nabe! Friends old and new. Notre Dame, in recovery after the devastating fire of 2019 became, unwittingly, the symbol of my journey.

The Subject is IV

After a 2 week European sojourn, I was hospitalized in the Anna Jacques Hospital in Newburyport Mass. What an adventure and not the one I was planning to write about.

That Sunday, the august New York Times had a feature article about the well heeled, hooked up, getting IV drip therapy. In your luxury apt, a posh wellness spa or a medi van that delivers the goods where you are.

Ah, the irony of getting my very necessary meds via IV vs opting for optional pop infusions!
