He was highly recommended from our last guest Taylor, I went and checked out his contact, and I really appreciated not only the content but is positivity and openness to share about what he's been through. Winston talks about being a father, being a very gifted person at jiu-jitsu. He really opens up about his visual impairment and the diagnosis, and how doctors didn't seem to give him much to believe in. I really respect Winston because he was told one thing, and he chooses to live a different way, and most people don't have that in them.

This episode is with my new friend Taylor. She is legally blind, a mother, and an advocate. We met on TikTok, where she shared her personal stories about what it's like to be legally blind. I really respect her because she shows vulnerability and humor and doesn't take herself or her disability too seriously. She and I talk about all the good and the bad of having a visual disability and the mental health that comes with it.

I met Jill on a Facebook group and appreciated her vulnerability and honesty in our conversation. I consider her a friend and a disability warrior. She discusses her battles with mental health, the chronic pain that comes with it, and also how it constantly fluctuates. She talks about some of her biggest fears, like losing her sight and having to use a wheelchair to get around. Jill is somebody I have a lot of respect for, and even if she can't see it yet, she is a really strong person.
