The question is: if freedom has affinity with incompleteness, discomfort, uneasiness, why would anyone be interested in pursuing it? The million-dollar question does not really have a straight answer, of course. But a rather paradoxical one. It turns out, for whatever reason, that the incompleteness that the quest for freedom requires can also bring great relief for the natural pain of living.
