  • COVID-19 has changed the world. It arrived on the scene more than two years ago and is still affecting so many aspects of our daily lives.

    In this episode I speak with the following guests who share their knowledge, expertise and personal experiences navigating the last few years living with a pandemic:

    Dr. Jason Salemi,  an Associate Professor with joint appointments at the University of South Florida College of Public Health and the Morsani College of Medicine. Dr. Salemi has an extensive history in collaborative research, scholarly publication, and teaching. His expertise is in public health data analysis, program and systems evaluation, community engagement, and information dissemination. 

    Ashley Bartholomew, a registered nurse and healthcare advocate with over 10 years’ experience. With a unique background in the United States Air Force, her career in healthcare began as an active-duty dental technician. She then went on to earn her LPN in 2009, ADN in 2011, and BSN in 2016. 

    Dr. Christian Ramers, Chief of Population Health and Director of Graduate Medical Education at the Family Health Centers of San Diego. Dr. Ramers holds academic appointments at UC San Diego School of Medicine and San Diego State University School of Public Health, and is board certified in Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Addiction Medicine.
