  • I hadn't planned on making this a podcast until last night as I was thinking about how we don't have a lot of ways to connect with each other around grief. We all come together for the funeral or memorial and then it's "over." Even though the experience of grief continues long after people have stopped coming by with the flowers and the casseroles. I needed a way to pause and think about my Dad as I approach the 1 year mark of his death. I wanted to invite others to join me to promote a sense of togetherness and connection - through grief. 

    I'm going to light a candle in honor of my Dad at 6:50pm tomorrow (January 11th) and I'm inviting all of you to join me. You can honor someone that you have lost or support someone you know who is grieving by lighting a candle and letting them know that you were thinking of them.
