Ram Aarti - Aarti Kije Shri Raghuvar Ji Ki, is a Hindi Devotional Song, sung by the devotees in praise of Lord Rama.
Lord Rama, an avatar of Lord Vishnu, was born in Ayodhya as the eldest son of Kausalya and Dasharatha. He was the King of Ayodhya and was married to Sita, who is considered to be an avatar of Goddess Lakshmi. In Hinduism, Lord Rama is referred to as 'Maryada Purushottam', which means, the Lord of Virtue. Lord Rama is believed to be the central figure of the Ramayana - one of the two great epics of India.
Aarti - A Hindu religious ritual of worship, refers to the songs sung in praise of the deity when lamps are being offered. Devotees express their complete and unflinching love towards God by singing aartis with a deep sense of reverence and adoration.
