Redefining your story with Elisabeth Ippel

  • サマリー

  • “I decided not to be a victim. I decided to take my life in my hands."UNCODE.initRow(document.getElementById("script-175283"));

    Sharing stories of our achievements or how we actively turned something around can already be a challenge for some of us. But stories of failures? Of things that happened to us? Those are even harder. Which is why Elisabeth Ippel is such an inspiration. After being banned from the US, even spending one night in jail, she decided to not see herself as the victim of her story, but to redefine and own it.
    Tune in to this episode to hear from Elisabeth about:

    Taking the leap without having your next step planned out
    Not burning bridges when transitioning
    How liberating it is to downsize
    Finding your way back to what your heart wants
    Getting off the treadmill of life
    Reframing stories to see your role and the positive in them
    How freeing standing up for yourself is

    Elisabeth’s recommended resources:

    * The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
    * Into the Magic Shop: A Neurosurgeon’s Quest to Discover the Mysteries of the Brain and the Secrets of the Heart by James R. Doty
    * Life Is Now
    * Fried Green Tomatoes

    About Elisabeth IppelElisabeth is the founder and owner of the PR agency actioncommunication. Elisabeth is originally German and grew up in Tanzania, Africa. Since her twenties, she has lived in different parts of the world like the UK, Switzerland, Italy, and Hawaii. She is the voice for innovative and daring startups and projects worldwide. Elisabeth has over 10 years experiences in the corporate communication – through her various positions in big corporations as well as her involvement with world-known projects like the first solar plane which flew around the world. Elisabeth is a strong believer in infinite possibilities and in following your heart’s desire. When being banned from entering the US, she turned the situation around and started to take this setback as a chance to create her life as she had always wished for: Elisabeth married the love of her life (who lives part-time in Hawaii), she sold all her belongings, and lives in her van or in furnished houses all around the world with her 4 cats. Right now she is in Portugal, near the ocean, where she learns to surf and offers yoga sessions as well as yoga retreats, while supporting startups with their communications worldwide. Elisabeth is a trained chakra healer, reiki therapist, and yoga coach. Her aim is to help humans to change their life around so that they live their full potential by creating their own life. Elisabeth is available for online life coach sessions. Or you dive into the magic of a week of yoga, meditation, and visualization in Portugal or South of Italy with her.
