このコンテンツについて
In fact, this new podcast titled Hello, My Darlings is dedicated to telling the stories of and advocating for disabled people, through support and truthful conversations about what it is really like to live as a disabled person. Yehee's honesty about her own disability as well as her advocacy for others is what drives this podcast.
Today's guest is Nicole Zimmerer (she/her) is a multi-hyphenate artist and activist with cerebral palsy who has a deep-seated hatred of stairs, talking about paving her own way in the entertainment and playwright industry to bring representation to the disabled community. Recently, she was a 2023 Fellow for RespectAbility’s Lab for Entertainers with Disabilities. She was a finalist for the Playwrights’ Center Core Apprenticeship program. Her work has been shown in New York City, Chicago, Sacramento, Pittsburgh, and DC. She is the host of the podcast Break a Leg! Disability in the Arts.
