  • Troubled individuals with dubious pasts, Eric Draven and Shelly Webster, cross paths while undergoing treatment at a rehab center. When Shelly's old sponsor, the evil Vincent, shows up with a tape that implicates him in one of his occult crimes, they resolve to break out of that de facto prison. Yes, Vincent has criminal control over the purposefully nameless city in the film due to his alliance with demonic entities. As a result, Vincent's henchmen eventually track down and kill the star-crossed lovers. Kronos warns Eric that Vincent’s deal with evil has thrown off the cosmic balance so much that he’ll send Eric back to the land of the living with newfound immortality and one single directive: “Kill ‘em all.” The Crow seemed to be slowing down at this time.
