For too long, humanity has seen life's decisions as simply man's ways vs. God's ways, being ignorant of the involvement of a snake. A spiritual war of gaslighting humanity into questioning what God has declared. At the root of it all? Our pride, dependence on self, and greed - which leads to our deception. But God is calling prodigal sons home - for them to realize how much they are dependent upon Him. But that return begins with revelation of our own depravity and need for God to give us true life.

It's time to give the snake the cold shoulder, and return to our Father as humble children.

Jesus famously healed lepers, but on one occasion something strange happened. He sternly told a leper to go straight to the priest. But the leper didn't listen to Jesus, and by this we learn an important prophetic warning about how this sin affects believers today.

Who does the leper represent? Why did Jesus tell him to follow Leviticus? And why did he not listen?

There is a leaven in the body of Christ that has become as a spreading cancer. A sin now so normalized that many do not realize its seriousness, nor when they themselves commit it. The courts of this world have at times become better at advocating for the principles of justice than the church. And if we are those who 'know the law', how much more should we be advocates of justice?

At times, we have become the makers of injustice, and murderers by the mouth. And in this time, God is calling all to an account - to cleanse this leaven that leads to death.
