Hello and Welcome to Episode 5! With a week off, we had lots to talk about. First, we changed the format slightly to include a news roundup at the start - covering some of the more important news of the last two weeks, John finally finishes 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and we discuss two games we've been playing a lot of - Gordian Quest and Hades. In episode 4, we decide that three topics isn't enough, so we each take a good one and a half topics to rant and rave about in our usual fashion. From No Man's Sky technical issues to 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim updated review and Team 17 studio review, we talk mostly about our experiences and "fun" we had without getting too serious about it this time! On our third episode, we accidentally make it a video game review episode, with three very different games and our opinionated discussions on them! We talk about Aggelos as a pick up and play Wonderboy homage with a few control issues, we discuss 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim as a Vanillaware game with gigantic mech fights and fantastic looking food, and finally we discuss Baldur's Gate III and it's pay for access method of reaching out to consumers as well as the Wizards of the Coast influence on the game! In the second episode of our new podcast, we meander through a variety of topics. With John hosting, we hear about Genshin Impact and similar Gacha games (as well as its own similarity to a big game), we discuss Digital Trading Card Games; touching on some of the most popular and we also discuss Dungeons and Dragons rise to popularity in the mainstream media as well as the rise of Critical Role who have published a core supplement for DND now!

In our first ever episode, we give a short description of who we are and what our intentions behind this podcast is before delving into topics. We touch on Heroquest, our childhood dnd-esque board game and how Hasbro's re-release in North America (excluding Quebec) is not a good thing for us - especially considering where the game was created. Next we discuss Zenimax Media and Bethesda being bought out by Microsoft - is it a good thing based on Microsoft Game Studio's previous purchases? And finally, we finish by talking about how at the start of the pandemic and lockdown, we were all playing Animal Crossing and now we are playing Among Us. Should we be worried for the Human Psyche?
