Tory Miller’s passion for local food can be traced back to his early years flipping burgers at his grandparents’ diner in Racine, Wisconsin. From there, he worked his way through the French Culinary Institute and several kitchens in New York City, ultimately returning to Madison and working at L’Etoile, one of the city’s most popular restaurants.
Kristine, who originally wanted to be a dancer, found her way to culinary school and later joined L’Etoile as a pastry assistant. She would go on to open Dough Baby Bakery in downtown Madison, and later returned to L’Etoile where she now works as head baker and pastry chef.
Today, Tory and Kristine are married with children and co-own L’Etoile and Graze, where they serve as Executive Chef and Operations Manager, respectively. Tune in to hear their story!
