Season 4, Episode 57: Interview with Simon Bamford (Butterball) from “Hellraiser” (1987) and “Hellbound: Hellraiser II” (1988)

  • サマリー

  • Such a spectacular and talented actor! This interview was fun. Okay, Simon made the interview extremely fun because is such a wild card! I absolutely loved everything he said in this interview, and I did not want to miss a single word.

With Hellraiser being my second favorite franchise and what Clive Barker poured into it, I will always be a Hellraiser fanboy. The special effects and makeup are riveting and unforgettable; from the Cenobites costumes and makeup to the practical special effects (and somewhat cheesy) but it’s the best from that decade alone and it’s certainly unmatched.

Behind the mind of Clive Barker comes the Cenobites who thrive on your pain and desires at the same time, it’s truly a franchise that cannot be touched by others. I am extremely glad that I had my Pinhead mask signed by the cast at the most recent Monster Mania Convention in Cherry Hill this past August. Truly a memory that I will never forget!

Easter Egg: Simon and I have confirmed that you can see his costume, Butterball featured in “Halloween H20: 20 Years Later” which makes him a part of two franchises.
