Pastor Nate Parsekian and Pastor Phil Bacalia discuss the importance of having a common vision for the church. That we will be Gospel Driven and Family Focused. Our vision is that during the next three years we dream of creating a church of mature followers of Christ. Who make building a Christ centered home their greatest achievement and highest priority. SCC recognizes the urgency of maturing Christ followers and the need to focus on the home. This urgency is stirred by our culture's outright attack on objective truth and the tearing down of the institutions of family, marriage, and parenting. We recognize the challenges our local households face and are here to guide them and help them navigate the minefields of our ever-changing culture. Over the next three years, we will provide our community with Gospel centered family focused tangible programs. We will be a safe place for families to find the necessary restoration, training, and supplies to win at home. We envision a battalion of Christ-centered homes flying high their gospel banner that will introduce men, women, boys, and girls to the good news of Jesus. We know the time is now to enlist our people, engage our community, and take ground from the enemy. Whatever your age, whatever your season, we can employ the gospel to strengthen our homes and bring hope to our community.
