In today's episode, we look at a brief overview of the Old Testament up until Samuel, the patterns we see from humanity in the Bible, and the consistent response from God.
Question: Are you in any patterns of disobedience or manipulation or deceit? And how can you rely on God’s patterns instead?
Prayer: Lord, I thank you that your Word is powerful. Thank you that you are the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow and we can rely on you to be good and faithful. God, for those of us who can identify those kinds of patterns in our lives at the moment that are more like our old selves than our new creation selves, God would you bring to our minds your goodness and your patterns of mercy and grace. Would you bring about freedom in our lives, Lord. And for those of us who are waiting on promises to come to us, God would give us the sticking power to wait it out and to trust in you, knowing that you’ve got it all in hand. We give you ourselves once again Jesus, and say have your way in us and through us. In your precious name Jesus, amen.
