That’s because last week was one of the worst fucking shows ever and this was at least not that, but oh God was it bad. Jeff Jarrett gets blown all show long and then defends the World Title in a cage match with Jeff Hardy. Plus AJ Styles falls from the ceiling, Tom Arnold allegedly wrestles Puppet, Team Canada wrestled 3 Live Kru in allegedly a Flag Match, Roddy Piper allegedly confronts Chris Rose, but AJ Styles really faces Abyss in a Tables Match. Plus a random ass appearance by Lex Luger and you find out The Stroke is a greater finisher than the Canadian Destroyer. A fun show despite that.

However, TNA skips the next two weeks in 2002, so Arya and Cyndi review the first of two Best Damn Wrestling Event Period shows in 2004. On today’s show there are wrestling matches, including an Ultimate X match, but none of those matter. What really matters are the five hosts doing bad comedy skits and the fans being mocked for being wrestling fans. The very first thing on this wrestling show is Chris Rose talking about how wrestling is fake and it all goes downhill from there. Magnum TA & Jim Duggan face The Road Warriors with a really stupid fucking finish. Then Max, aka The Missing Link faces Tim Horner in what may be a practical joke on the hosts, Junkyard Dog visits a burn victim and Ted DiBiase has a challenge for a Ted DiBiase Leaves Town Match. Today on Something Else, it’s Wednesday, so it’s Total Nonstop Arya! Arya and Cyndi, review the 11th edition of NWA: Total Nonstop Action from August 28, 2002, with the 2nd half of the first Death Of TNA! Witness a show completely lacking in attention to detail that ends with an exceptional main event, which is actually the best TNA match up to this point. Today, a 3-way ladder match with Low-Ki, AJ Styles and Jerry Lynn for the X-Division Title headlines the show and does it really matter what else is on the program? Well, Tenay and West plug a World Title match between Ron Killings and Brian Lawler and are then shocked when Killings is on the show, which is almost as bad as Don West trying to outlaw ladder matches and then forgetting all about the main event that they’ve plugged 212 times up to that point. On top of that, Bruce defends his Miss TNA title against April Hunter and Arya somehow confuses two entirely different women’s wrestlers and tries to play it off! All that and so much more.
