  • Episode 19: Uncomfortable win in the wet, but a win nonetheless
    2025/06/03
In what was torrential conditions on the Gold Coast, beautiful one day, wet the next - Storm managed to play to the conditions better than the Titans and came away with the 2 points in what can only be described as an uncomfortable watch where Melbourne never looked like they were in control. Wet weather is the great leveller, the great equaliser which inhibited the Storm to get their natural attacking game on. Despite not being able to execute like they would've liked to, they managed to complete high, hold the ball and came away with victory. Stormy Daniel covers off on the review of the win over the Titans, listener questions, what's making Storm news, Junior and Feeder team weekend wrap up, Throwback team list and TLT - team list Tuesday. Who's in? Who's out for the all important clash with the Cowboys.

  • Episode 17: Inconsistency in Storm's game plaguing their Premiership campaign
    2025/05/21
Inconsistency or the lack of consistency from week to week, game to game is hurting the Storm. The inability to win back-to-back games or put together a string of wins is a concern. Whilst Melbourne have the artillery in their list to compete and dominate, it simply is not translating to on the field performances, as no doubt is giving the coaching staff and senior players some concern as Storm head into their second 'Bye' on Season 2025. The Bye probably comes at a good time to allow the Storm to reset, refocus and look ahead to Round 13, the halfway point of the NRL's Telstra Premiership season. Stormy Daniel covers off on what's making Storm news and takes your listerner question's in an abbreviated podcast episode this week with no game to preview.

  • Episode 15: Ruthless Storm returns in time for showdown with a rejuvenated Sharks team
    2025/05/13
Clinical. Methodical. Determined. Focused and above all ruthless. Melbourne bounced back in spectacular fashion putting Wests to the sword, with a resounding 64-nil victory, equalling their 2001 record against the joint-venture club. The Storm were on and in some kind of mood. You got the sense that it would not have mattered who was in front of them last Sunday afternoon. The result would have been the same. Storm blew the Tigers off the park with Wests unable to stop the purple juggernaut. Stormy Daniel reviews the flawless performance, whilst answering your listener questions, covers off on what's making Storm news, throwback team list and the all important TLT - who's in, who's out for the clash with the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in Round 11.

  • Episode 14: Poor discipline costs Storm dearly in a Magic Round epic
    2025/05/06
In what started to look like a magical performance by Melbourne, quickly turned to disaster with the Storm's ill discipline costing them victory in an entertaining but spiteful match against the high flying Green Machine. No doubt the Raiders baited the Storm, but cool heads needed to prevail, but unfortunately those same heads were taken off and replaced with pumpkins. Stormy Daniel shares his opinion as well as answers listener questions who also have questioned the poor discipline shown by the Storm. What's making Storm news, throw back team list, TLT - who's in, who's out for the Round 10 clash against a resurgent Wests Tigers team who are an improved side in 2025. Melbourne can ill afford to take Wests lightly.

  • Episode 13: Storm find their defensive grit in the trenches en route to Magic Round
    2025/04/29
On a solemn, moving pre-game ceremony, Storm channelled the ANZAC Spirit in trying conditions, getting their 20th consecutive win over the Rabbitohs in Melbourne. In a game where Storm always looked to be in control, unlike previous weeks, Melbourne did not rely on their attacking flair to establish victory over Souths. Wet weather is the great equaliser, which brought both teams into an arm wrestle. But Storm were patient, built pressure and dug in defensively to notch up another win on ANZAC Day at AAMI Park. Stormy Daniel back from Melbourne covers off on your listener questions, what's making Storm news, throw back team list and who's in and who's out for Team List Tuesday en route to Brisbane for Magic Round, where Ricky's Raiders will be waiting.

  • Episode 12: Defensive resolve in question for Storm as Rabbitohs look for first win in Melbourne in an ANZAC Day upset
    2025/04/22
Baffled, perplexed, bewildered. Just some of the adjectives to describe how many Storm fans and Coach Craig Bellamy were feeling about the disappointing loss to the Dolphins. A heavy defeat, conceding 40 unanswered points was embarrasing and not something you would expect from a Melbourne Storm team, one that is under the coaching of Craig Bellamy. Stormy Daniel reviews the heavy defeat at length, with many listener questions asking what happened? Something that I'm sure Bellsa himself is still scratching his head over and why the performance was so poor. Stormy Daniel covers off on what's making Storm news, throwback team list, along with team list Tuesday for the Storm's ANZAC Day clash with the Rabbitohs. 'Lest We Forget'.
