Dianne  Davis and Chris Harris are joined by disability advocate, lawyer and renaissance woman Dr Huhana Hickey (Dr Hu) as we discuss disability in Aotearoa New Zealand, the role of the new Ministry set up to be the voice and make change in the disability community and how animals can support those who need it the most.  Dr Hu leaves us with three key words of advice Question, Advocate and Appeal 

Join Chris Harris this month, with special guests Kate Hannah who is the founder and director of the disinformation project. Kate has undertaken extensive work on how information disorders relate to narratives and tropes of white supremacy, racism, extreme misogyny, the role of the media, and the impact of the infodemic on social cohesion, tolerance, and democracy.  
Our second guest is Bryon C. Clark, Bryon is a video essayist, and oral historian. He has done extensive work on far-right groups in Aotearoa and is in the process of writing a book on the subject.  

Join Chris Harris and Dianne Davis this month, with special guests Professor William Spurlin,  who is Professor of English and Vice Dean/Education in the College of Business, Arts, Social Sciences at Brunel University London. Professor Spurlin has written extensively on the politics of gender and sexual dissidence and is widely known for his work in postcolonial queer studies and for examining sexuality as a significant vector of social organisation and cultural arrangement in colonial and postcolonial Africa, under National Socialism, and in the medical humanities.
Our second guest is Wellington City Councillor Fleur Fitzsimons, Fleur was first elected to Council after winning a by-election in 2017 and is one of two Paekawakawa/Southern Ward councillors for the 2019–22 triennium.  She  will be speaking on transgender issues and her experiences of raising a transgender child.
