    Matt is the co-founder and President of Sherrill Manufacturing, whose brand, Liberty Tabletop, is sold on the internet via www.libertytabletop.com Prior to owning Sherrill Manufacturing, Matt was Senior VP of Manufacturing and Engineering for Oneida Limited, who sold the factory to Matt and Greg Owens in 2005. Matt was born and raised in Central New York, graduating from Clarkson University in 1986 with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. While working for GE as a radar systems engineer, Matt furthered his education with both a MSEE and MBA from Syracuse University. After taking a new position at Oneida Limited in 1991, Matt rose through the organization, from quality engineering to Senior VP of Manufacturing and Engineering. In 2005, Oneida Limited sold the NY factory to Matt and Greg Owens.

     

    Matt and his wife Alice, who is the HR Director for Sherrill Manufacturing, live in the City of Oneida with Duke the dog, who loves to visit the factory and greet the employees. Matt and Alice have 3 grown children, Andrew (and is wife Kayla), Eric and Mallory. They also enjoy being grandparents to Cooper and Charleigh Roberts. Matt is also involved in local government as a Madison County Supervisor, representing the City of Oneida.
