For this episode of The All-Around Adventure Podcast, I'm joined by Jacob Lemanski, a global adventurer and long-distance cyclist who has ridden his bicycle around the world not once, but twice. He’s also the creator of How to Move the Stars, a personal project and philosophy inspired by the celestial shifts that he witnessed during his adventures.
Jacob's incredible journey took him across continents and hemispheres. He traveled from the far north to the deep south. Passing through bustling cities, quiet villages, and wide-open wilderness. Along the way he faced challenges, as well as experienced moments of awe. Such as seeing the Southern Cross for the first time after cycling into the Southern Hemisphere. His story is one of endurance, curiosity, and a profound connection to the world around him.
In this episode, Jacob shares highlights from his travels, lessons learned from life on the road, and how his journey helped shape his perspective on movement, place, and the cosmos. We also dive into his reflections on what it means to "move the stars". A metaphor brought to life through his travels and the powerful sense of wonder that comes from seeing the world from the seat of a bicycle.
