In todays episode of The Briefing Note, I chat with federal NDP candidate Trisha Estabrooks, the former CBC journalist and chair of the Edmonton Public School Board about her bid to be the next MP for Edmonton Centre.

In this election episode of The Briefing Note I'm chatting with Rachel Loewen Walker who is running for the NDP in the riding of Saskatoon West. Rachel and I talk about running in a contested nomination (spoiler - she's been running for over a year) and what she's hearing from voters. The second half of the podcast focuses on the invisibility of women and focus on women in the overall Canadian election campaign and kind of wraps up with me asking the very significant question of if each political leader was a food, which food would they be.
