Sometimes you have to put a pause on people who just vent just to vent. Tell me about your good times, accomplishments, goals, etc. If all they have to bring to the conversation is negatives then drop the conversation as a whole. Protect your mental health as well as your physical health. Do something about the issues. Walk away! Apply for college! Leave them! Start that Business! Just take the necessary steps already! WE are entering a VENT FREE SPACE!
