The Hurricanes played a good ten minutes to start the game, and scored first, but ultimately the Devils controlled a majority of the game winning 4-2.

The Hurricanes scored 30 seconds into the first period before adding three more goals to open the third, winning 4-1 in Philadelphia.

The Blues were the better team early, but a late first period pp goal and an early second period goal propelled the Hurricanes to victory. Kochetkov was great, and Necas is the hottest player in the NHL. The team improved to 13-4 overall and 7-1 at home.

The Canes returned home and Martin comes up with a big shutout. Martinook also stayed hot and the Necas point streak continues.

For the first time ever the Hurricanes played hockey in the state of Utah and it looked pretty good until the 3rd. Pyotr was banged up and pulled, the canes went 8 straight minutes on the pp without a goal, and Vejmelka was great in goal for Utah.

A multi-goal first period got the Canes off and running and they went to work from there. Necas extends his point streak to 10 games. Martinook was impactful again. Pyotr was excellent.

A five goal second period for the Avalanche was too much for the Canes to overcome despite outplaying Colorado for stretches. The 8 game winning streak ends. Necas and Martinook stay hot.

Martinook opened the scoring less than a minute into the game, Roslovic scored two goals, and Pyotr was good in net all night. The Hurricanes are hot. 🔥
